The number of available parking spots is limited and often the demand for them is high. Therefore there are certain criteria in place to ensure that only users with carpooling activity receive a reserved parking spot:
- Only drivers with at least one confirmed passenger are eligible to receive a parking spot. For more information on how to find a passenger, you can check out this article.
- Parking spots are assigned on a daily basis the evening before the ride. In the case where you haven't found a match until then, don't worry, you will still get assigned a parking spot after the daily allocation if you eventually find someone to carpool with and if there are still some parking spots available.
- The higher the carpooling activity the user has in the app, the higher are the chances of receiving a parking spot. Increasing the number of confirmed rides and trip invitations in the app will help you to boost your chances of getting assigned a reserved parking spot in the future.
- Canceling trip invitations and confirmed rides decreases users' overall carpooling activity in the app. If you for any reason cancel your trip invitation or confirmed ride then your overall carpooling activity will be reduced accordingly. This way, we want to make sure that the passengers and the drivers are more cautious when canceling their trips which, in turn, provides a greater sense of reliability for everyone using the carpooling app.
